The North Edinburgh Community Awards are back! On 30 September 2026 we’re celebrating tenants and community members in Leith and north Edinburgh.
Do you know someone who deserves a big thank you? We’d love your help to shine a light on the everyday heroes around you. Nominations close on Sunday 30 August 2026. You can nominate:
- A neighbour who goes the extra mile
- A young person doing something great
- A volunteer who’s always lending a hand
- A community group making a big difference
What happens next?
Those up for an award will be invited with friends and family to a free community awards night on Wednesday 30 September. This will feature Leith’s Big Bingo Night, a community supper and prizes!

North Edinburgh Community Awards 2025
The North Edinburgh Awards are all about celebrating what makes Leith and north Edinburgh an amazing place to live. Our inaugural awards night took place at Out of the Blue Drill Hall on Thursday 23 October 2025. The evening kicked off with a magic show and community get-together before the winners were revealed.
