And, for the first time ever, prices for prepayment meters will also be lowered to roughly the same unit pricing as those who pay by direct debit.<\/p>\n<p>Our Energy Advice Officer Kenny has a few tips to help you make the most of the new rates straight away.<\/p>\n<p><strong>If you have a regular meter (this includes Direct Debit, monthly or pay quarterly customers):<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Take a few minutes to submit your meter readings by Friday 30 July. This will mean that when the new pricing kicks in on Saturday, you&#8217;ll be billed correctly on the cheaper rates immediately.<\/p>\n<p><strong>If you have a prepayment meter:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Top up on Saturday 1 July (not before this date) with at least \u00a31 on each meter.
