The awards, sponsored by Ross &amp; Liddell, are a celebration of excellence in Scottish housing.<\/p>\n<p>We&#8217;re in the running for Social Housing Development of the Year (over 100 units) for our development at Chestnut Street on Granton\u2019s waterfront. The development is also a finalist in the Housing Regeneration Project of the Year category.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-8638 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/harbour.scot\/homes\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2025\/05\/20240814-CCG-Homes-Chestnut-St-008-scaled.jpg\" alt=\"Drone photo of development at Chestnut Street.\" width=\"2560\" height=\"1438\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The project at Chestnut Street includes 96 homes for social rent by Harbour Homes and 130 properties for mid market rent by Harbour Lettings. The remaining 80 properties are social rent homes provided by Cairn Housing Association. The project\u2019s contractor was CCG and the architect was Hackland + Dore.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Heather Kiteley, Chief Executive, Harbour Homes, said:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are very proud that our development at Chestnut Street has been recognised for its success in bringing high-quality, affordable homes to Granton. To also be shortlisted in the Regeneration Project of the Year category is a wonderful testament to the hard work of all those involved.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>Audrey Simpson, CEO, Cairn Housing Association, said:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019re thrilled that Chestnut Wynd has been recognised at the Scottish Home Awards.
