With new parking restrictions coming to Leith, we’d like to remind tenants living in affected areas of key dates this summer.
If you live in Zone N7 (Pilrig/Leith Walk) or Zone N8 (Leith/North Leith), the new parking restrictions will be coming into effect from 26 June 2023. You can find more information on the Council’s website.
Parking permit applications for these zones can be made from 5 June 2023 onwards. To apply, please click here. Blue Badge holder permits, although free of charge, must also be applied for if parking in resident only spaces.
We recommend planning ahead for your own parking needs to ensure you have the best chance of securing parking near your home.
Changes to private car parks
As a result of the changes to parking around Leith, we will be introducing external parking management to our developments with residential car parks. If your home is served by one of our cark parks, we’ll be in touch with more details about this shortly.
Please note that the ratio of spaces available will be higher using the council permit system than any of our car parks. We appreciate this transition may not be easy, but we also recognise and support the wider aims to reduce carbon emissions and promote active travel.
