What is a Gas Safety Check?
We are Gas Safe Register approved and can carry out gas safety inspections and issue gas safety reports for all types of gas appliances, both domestic and commercial.
It is important to have your gas appliances checked annually to not only to improve efficiency and performance, but to ensure they are safe. Faulty or poorly maintained appliances run the risk of causing carbon monoxide poisoning which can be fatal.
We Would
- Check each appliance (including gas consumption and gas pressure), any flue or chimney serving the appliance, and any controls, are correctly installed, operating correctly and safe to use
- Complete a flue combustion test to ensure no carbon monoxide is being produced
- Check that all the safety devices are working
- Check the electric connection
- Visually inspect the appliance for corrosion and leaks
*This service should only ever be carried out by a qualified, Gas Safe Registered engineer.
