£eith Chooses has awarded a total of £54,102 in grants to 12 projects based in Leith.
In response to feedback from Harbour Homes tenants asking for a stronger community voice and in line with our strategic mission to create brilliant communities, Harbour Connections (a placemaking social enterprise within Harbour) contributed £3,000 to the £eith Chooses fund.
Grants from this participatory budgeting project have been awarded to small or one-off projects that meet urgent needs for the local community in Leith.
Placemaking Manager at Harbour Connections, John Murray, said:
“It’s great that we can support communities across Leith through £eith Chooses. Our tenants asked us to support strong community voices, so this has been a brilliant opportunity to help.”

- Central Leith After School Club (CLASP)

- Hermitage Park School Association
- Edinburgh Remakery
- Himalayan Centre
- ELREC
- YMCA Edinburgh
