Health Issues in the Community (HIIC) is a course that helps people understand what affects their health and the health of their communities. HIIC helps people develop the skills and knowledge to address health issues using community development approaches and bring about change in their communities.
Health Issues in the Community is a friendly, welcoming and free course for communities all over Scotland. It explores common themes about our health and wellbeing. The course shares ideas about what we can do to help ourselves and our friends and neighbours feel well, safe and happy.
Interested in doing the course? We are hosting a series of taster sessions so you can get more information about how it could benefit you and your community.
You can find out more about the course, including clips of people sharing their experiences of completing the course, at www.hiic.org.uk.
